The Axis puppet state of Croatia absorbed Bosnia-Herzegovina. Germany occupied Serbia. Albania, Bulgaria, Hungary and Italy gobbled up what was left. Following the Axis defeat in 1945, the DFJ (Democratic Federation of Yugoslavia) regained the original territory of the Kingdom of Yugoslavia. Until now, this exhibit has only been available on-line.
